    • We are excited to announce that MENOPAUSE THE MUSICAL, originally scheduled at the Orpheum Theater Center for June 12-14, 2020, has been rescheduled to October 23-25, 2020. 
    • Current tickets will be automatically moved to the new date (see below) and we will send a new ticket closer to the show. If ticket holders have a conflict with this new date, you can switch to a different performance time, provide your ticket payment as a donation to support the Washington Pavilion or we can offer you a credit to be used towards a future performance.   • Sioux Empire Community Theatre presents Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST
    • Update from previous announcement: The show WILL go on! The Sioux Empire Community Theatre's production of Disney's Beauty and the Beast will be postponed to the Spring of 2021. The new performance dates will be April 22 - May 2, 2021. 
    • All tickets will be automatically transferred to the new dates. Ticket holders will still be in their corresponding reserved seat, weekend and show time. If ticket holders need to exchange for a different performance time, please contact the Washington Pavilion Box Office. Tickets displaying the new date will be issued.     • If the new dates do not work for your schedule, the following is a list of options for ticket alternatives:

The safety and health of our visitors, artists, employees, volunteers and community continue to be our top priority. Additionally, we are committed to keeping you informed and updated on our events and operations. 
 
In an effort to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the City of Sioux Falls has issued a public health emergency declaration. We are committed to supporting our City’s actions to mitigate this illness.
 
As such, the Washington Pavilion and Orpheum Theater Center facilities will be closing to the public starting Tuesday, March 17, 2020 until further notice. Education programs will not be held until further notice.
 
The Washington Pavilion and the Orpheum Theater Center Box Office phone line, 605-367-6000, will be open and operate on normal business hours for phone calls only. 
 
Ensuring a healthy, safe and secure community is essential, and Washington Pavilion Management, Inc. will do all we can to support this effort. We will continue to follow recommendations from local and state leaders in this fluid situation. 
 
Any new changes in operations will be communicated with our patrons and the public as quickly as possible. We will post any public notices and updates on our websites at www.washingtonpavilion.org, www.siouxfallsorpheum.com and social media channels.

On March 12, 2020 the City of Sioux Falls has issued a public health declaration limiting all large gatherings over 250 people at City-owned facilities effective March 13-26, 2020. 

We are committed to supporting our City’s efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19. Thus, the following public events at the Washington Pavilion and Orpheum Theater Center facilities are affected; these are postponed at this time:

Washington Pavilion:

Orpheum Theater Center:

  • Sioux Falls Jazz and Blue Society presents: Quiana Lynell

If you are a customer who has purchased tickets to an event, we are gathering more information and will communicate with you as soon as possible. 

The following areas of the Washington Pavilion will be temporarily closed through March 26:

The following areas of the Washington Pavilion will be open with normal operations:

We plan to resume operations as normal on March 27 and will continue to follow the recommendations of local and state leaders.
